Wisconsin-born author Elizabeth Trueblood writes stories that sometimes dance around the speculative, and at other times dive headlong into it. She populates them with survivors, many of whom possess unique "powers." There's even a "magic little girl" western - which puts a highly imaginative spin on the kind of stories of the old west that we're used to.
